HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET TO THE LODGE?

Once you get to B and R Cabins...you will begin your snowmobile ride to the lodge...allow 1.5 hours to do so if you have gear you are towng and try to get to the lodge before dark...


I HAVE NO PERVIOUS SNOWMOBILE EXPERIENCE WILL I FIND IT DIFFCULT?


Most of our guests have no prior experience. A complete safety orientation and instruction is provided prior to starting your tour. Operation of a snowmobile is not difficult and most of our guests become comfortable very quickly with the snowmobile.

I AM CONCERNED ABOUT GETTING COLD.
Your snowmobling clothing and Boots should be rated for extreme cold temperture, helmets should be worn and gloves. All  equipment should be specifically designed for snowmobiling and it will keep you warm.

HOW LONG DO WE SNOWMOBILE EACH DAY?
The day starts at approximately 7:30 for breakfast and we are on the trail by 9:00. We arrive back at the lodge for the evening at about 4:00pm. Your guide will make frequent stops and there is ample opportunity for photos and exploring the wildlife the areas is famous for. The days are relaxed and not strenuous. We want you to thoroughly experience the Mountains while on the tour.

HOW MANY TOTAL MILES WILL WE TRAVEL?
This depends on the rider, weather conditions and where your trip is planned, the an average day is usually 200 kM.

WHAT IS THE LODGING LIKE?
We have been operating for 15 years. We have established relationships with many guest that the finest lodging facilities in Newfounld and All rooms have private baths,linins, towels,deluxe bedding....for a comfortable nights sleep. TV's are in each of the eight rooms.

We can accommodatate 16-18 guest based on double occupancy..

We have a confercnce room...a comfortable Great room for socializing, relaxing with you favorite book

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN A GROUP?
You will never have more than 10 snowmobiles in your group and in most cases it is less than this.

WHAT IS A DOUBLE RIDER?
A double rider is a second person on a snowmobile.

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO OPERATE A SNOWMOBILE?
Everyone must have a valid driver’s license to operate a snowmobile .

HOW DO I CARRY MY GEAR TO THE LODGE?
Pack in a gym style duffel bag, 30 X 12. This will be carried in a rack on your snowmobile. We ask that you limit your gear to about 20 pounds. We are happy to meet you group and escort you to the lodge for an additional fee. This must be reserved ahead of time.

HOW DO I RESERVE A TOUR DATE?
With one nights deposit holds your reservation. A confirmation is sent upon receipt of the deposit. The balance of the tour cost is due 14 days prior to the date of the tour.

WILL I HAVE FUN?
Our goal is to provide a memorable experience for all of our guests. We believe we provide the finest multi day snowmobile tour available. Please call for a list of references if you would like to speak with prior guests.

HOW EXPERIENCED ARE YOUR GUIDES?
Our guides represent third and fourth generation, Combined, they have over 30 years of experience guiding snowmobile trips.
